Alex of Eyvi Studio creates original surface pattern designs using a blend of traditional mixed media techniques and digital tools. Work often begins with hand-drawn elements, printmaking textures or paint, before evolving into seamless repeat patterns ready for a wide variety of uses.
Designs have been licensed by a variety of brands for commercial uses, Alex also collaborates directly with clients - whether that’s through bespoke commissions or adaptations to existing artwork. She has an art and design background, a thorough understanding of design and creative processes and technical experience of working across Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. She also has much professional experience of consulting and brief development with clients.
